What is a Tag?

When you add a podcast, you can give it a tag, which is a keyword. Tags help you find podcasts which have something in common. You can assign as many tags as you wish to each podcast.

Tags can give another dimension to podcast content relationships. For instance, you can have a podcast which you would categorize under music, but you can then specialize it with some tags such as electronic, ambient, or rock.

The majority of tags associated with a podcast come from our users. This is done when you suggest a show, or Contact us with tag suggestions for a specific podcast.

The remainder are filled in on an ad hoc basis by us as we update the directory.
